The Manchester Fire Department responded to a report of a fire on Edgemere Drive on Saturday night at around 6 p.m.
Upon arrival, fire officials found it was a small electrical fire that set the alarm.
Police
say after the fire department left, a Manchester fire truck collided
with another car at the intersection of Calef Road and Harrington
Avenue. According to police reports, the streets were covered with snow
and there was low visibility.
There was one person in the car traveling south on Calef Road who said she was unable to stop due to the conditions.
The
passenger was checked at the scene and none of the firefighters were
hurt. The firetruck was taken out of service due to damages.
