APPARATUS CRASH IN MANCHESTER, NH

Sunday, December 30, 2012 The Manchester Fire Department responded to a report of a fire on  Edgemere Drive on Saturday night at around 6 p.m.

Upon arrival, fire officials found it was a small electrical fire that set the alarm.

Police say after the fire department left, a Manchester fire truck collided with another car at the intersection of Calef Road and Harrington Avenue. According to police reports, the streets were covered with snow and there was low visibility.

There was one person in the car traveling south on Calef Road who said she was unable to stop due to the conditions.

The passenger was checked at the scene and none of the firefighters were hurt. The firetruck was taken out of service due to damages.
