2 injured when ambulance crashes in fog near Hanford - California

Tuesday, December 11, 2012 By Jim Guy

An ambulance heading to a collision Monday morning near Hanford crashed en route in foggy conditions, severely injuring two crew members.

The crash happened about 9 a.m. at Eleventh and Kent avenues. The two were taken to Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno.

The victims of the original crash at Kansas Avenue and Eleventh were less severely hurt and went to Adventist Medical Center.

Conditions were extremely foggy and played a significant role in both crashes, the California Highway Patrol said.
