On 12-04-12 while responding lights and sirens to a MVC on the interstate, we were trying to use a turnaround to get back to the MVC. As we started our left hand turn from the middle of the road a tractor trailer passed us on the left side. the tractor trailer had to drive in the grass to try and get around us. he was unable and struck the front drivers side of our rescue truck. the crash took off the front bumper and caused the cab to shift of our 2011 SVI Heavy rescue. Only by the grace of God no one was injured.
no mater how save you are and how many steps you take to prevent something like this. stuff happens always stay on your toes keep your eyes open seatbelt on and know that it can happen to you. Any time any place. be safe out there.
