The ambulance was on its way to a call and collided with the car as it crossed the roundabout at Fossetts Farm, Southend, near to the Waitrose supermarket at about 6.50pm tonight.
Nobody was hurt in the collision but police officers attended and assisted the woman car driver to change her tyre which had been punctured in the crash.
