Saturday, November 17, 2012 Today during training at the Delaware County Emergency Services Training Center a ground ladder was unfooted, causing the fall of a Deputy Chief performing vertical ventilation at the time.  The Chief suffered severe leg injuries along with injuries to his back that required emergency surgery at the University of Penn Trauma unit.


REMEMBER TO ALWAYS FOOT THE LADDER WHEN MEMBERS ARE WORKING FROM THEM AND HAVE A SAFETY OFFICE R IN PLACE AT TRAINING!
