A woman suffered moderate injuries, and three Lake Saint Louis
firefighters suffered minor injuries when the woman's car and a fire
truck collided Friday night..
The Missouri Highway Patrol said
Melonie L. Reeves, 39, of Lake Saint Louis was eastbound on Veterans
Memorial Parkway west of Villa Drive a little before 9:15 p.m. Her Ford
Fusion crossed over the center line and struck the left front of a
westbound Freightliner pumper driven by Michael D. Carroll, 62, also of
Lake Saint Louis investigators said.
Chief Jeff Smith of the Lake
Saint Louis Fire Protection District, said the three firefighters
immediately started working to free Reeves from her car. They were taken
to a local hospital and released, he said.
