2 FDNY rigs responding to a fire this morning struck
each other, resulting in numerous injured members. At Avenue J and
East 103rd street Engine 257 and Ladder 170 collided, with a total of 10
injured members, some being serious. We'll post updates on our home page.
FLORIDA FIREFIGHTER HAS MASSIVE HEART ATTACK ON
DUTY:
On October 17,2012 Levy County Firefighter-Paramedic Kenny
Luzader suffered a massive heart attack while on duty at Levy County Medic 1.
He since has had open heart surgery and after some unexpected complications he
is on the road to recovery. Kenny will be unable to return to work for several
months while he is recuperating. While Kenny, the sole provider of his wife
Sherry and young daughter Chloe. Kenny has touched so many
firefighters lives and given so much to the fire service throughout
his career, and he now needs help. Please help us to help the Luzader family
during this difficult time. Any donations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
