A PATIENT transport ambulance was involved in a crash in Worcester while taking a woman between two hospitals.
The crash between the non-emergency patient transport vehicle and a box van happened at the junction of the A449 and Temeside Way, Powick at around 10.45am today.
Attending the scene were an emergency ambulance crew and two rapid response vehicles, one driven by a senior paramedic officer.
There were three people on board the non-emergency patient transport service vehicle. The driver, an attendant and a woman who at the time of the smash was being transferred from Queen Elizabeth Hospitalm Birmingham to Brecon Hospital.
