HELENA- No serious injuries were reported Sunday when a Meagher County ambulance tried to make a left turn from the middle lane on Prospect Avenue in Helena and hit a small black truck.
The two people in the truck, who are both from Helena, were taken to St. Peter's Hospital for what's described as non-life threatening injuries.
The ambulance, from White Sulphur Springs, had been in Helena transferring a patient to St. Peter's Hospital.
The driver of the ambulance was cited for improper lane changing while the driver of the truck was cited for not wearing a seatbelt.
The truck had to be towed away, while the ambulance suffered only minor damage and was able to be driven back to Meagher County.
