Saturday, September 15, 2012 HAWLEY, Pa. — A Pa. man, who was naked and heavily bleeding, attacked a woman and gnawed on her head while on a neighborhood rampage, police say.

Investigators said that the incident last Friday occurred after Richard Ciminio, Jr., 20, drove to a home, stripped down to his underwear, and tried to break into a home unsuccessfully, according to CBS Philadelphia.

After failing to gain entrance to the home, Ciminio took off his underwear and walked down the street and broke into an occupied house.

While in the home, he went to the second floor and jumped out of the window, injuring himself and causing severe bleeding.

Injured, he encountered two women. He tackled one of the women, hurting her head and covering her in his blood. He then "began to gnaw" on her head while "screaming like an animal," CBS Philadelphia said.

The women were able to escape and alerted police.

The police said Ciminio was acting erratic and delusional and were forced to Taser him. Despite being tasered, he punched the EMT who was treating him, in the face.

It is unclear if Ciminio was under the influence of any substance, if any.
