Sunday, August 5, 2012 Cumberland County PA - Units were dispatched for a garage fire @ 0438 AM and arriving @ 443 AM. Shortly after arriving and deploying the initial attack lines and before Fire Police had the roadway closed to traffic this genius decided to drive between a tower truck on Side A and the attack pumper which was located across the street from the address. Vehicle drove over the backup line which was deployed around the front of the Engine and stopped only after striking the attack line across his windshield and nearly striking the pump opr. PD yanked the guy out of the car...no INTOX just STUPID!
