Hey,
A Natrona County (Wyoming-near Casper) Firefighter has been
hospitalized in critical condition for having a stroke while driving responding
apparatus. Firefighter Adam Longo was driving a squad truck to the fire station
to pick up a brush truck when he suffered the stroke-fortunately other
firefighters in the truck were able to get control of the vehicle and
bring it to a safe stop. FF Longo underwent surgery late Thursday afternoon and
was listed in critical but stable condition Friday.FF Longo and crew were
responding to a grass fire when he was stricken. The fire destroyed a small
camper and scorched about 3,000 square feet of grass. Keep'm in your
prayers.
FIREFIGHTER STRUCK IN PA
A Firefighter was treated for injuries after being hit by a
car in Brighton Heights (near Pittsburgh) late last night. The
Firefighter was at the scene of a previous crash when he was struck by a
vehicle. He was taken to an area hospital and treated for injuries to his lower
leg and knee. Cops stopped the driver suspected of hitting the
firefighter, but there was no word on whether charges will be filed.
