Saturday, September 4, 2010 It is with deep regret that we, aloing with the Lorraine FD and the Kansas State FF's Association announce the Line of Duty Death of Chief Larry Suiter, 64. Chief Suiter had responded to an anhydrous ammonia leak at Lorraine grain elevator, last night, the evening of September 3, 2010. Chief Suiter passed away at his home in the early morning hours today, September 4, 2010. He leaves to mourn his passing, his wife Rosy, of the home and two children, Diana and Thomas, as well as his entire fire service family. Chief Suiter had been with the department for 40 years, 25 of which was as chief of department.
