SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - While an ambulance was on its way to help the victims of a stabbing on Main St, another car broadsided it flipping it onto its side.
Lieutenant Slepchuk told 22News a driver hit the ambulance at the intersection of Roosevelt Avenue and Wilbraham Road.
The EMT's inside had to punch out the windshield to get out.
The ambulance driver had to be taken to the hospital after the crash but she's expected to be ok.
The other driver was ticketed for not yielding to an ambulance.
