MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (WJLA) — A firefighter was injured and two families were displaced following a house fire early Tuesday morning in Montgomery County, Maryland.
Officials say the firefighter suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to an area hospital, and several others were evaluated at the scene. The fire caused $1 million in damages.
Smoke alarms alerted the sleeping residents and they were able to exit the residence. Approximately 70 firefighters responded to the scene of a blaze located at 19528 Dubarry Drive.
