The Farmington (Maine) Fire Chief, injured in a deadly blast in Farmington, has been released from the hospital and is on his way home. Chief Terry Bell has been at Maine Medical Center in Portland since the explosion on September 16. His brother, Captain Michael Bell, died in the propane incident at the LEAP building. Several other Firefighters were hurt, including Captain Scott Baxter, who is still hospitalized in Portland, in fair condition. Also injured in the explosion was Larry Lord, a maintenance worker, credited with evacuating the building. He remains in critical condition in Boston. A procession was held this evening, escorting Chief Terry Bell back to the Farmington Fire Station.
