Two people were killed in a crash involving an ambulance on Interstate 40 in Nashville.
It happened Friday night around 7:15 at exit 201 for State Route 24, US-70 and Charlotte Pike.
Police say the West Tennessee ambulance crashed, causing the patient and medic in the back to be ejected from the vehicle.
The patient, medic and driver were all transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in critical condition. The patient and medic died. Police have not released their identities.
