An Indianapolis firefighter escaped uninjured after falling through a floor into the basement while fighting fire at an unoccupied house Monday.
The fire was reported at the two-story home at about 2:40 a.m. At 2:44 a mayday was called when one firefighter fell through a burned-out hole in the floor, according to Fox59. The firefighter was found and removed within a minute.
The firefighter was checked on scene and returned to duty shortly after.
