A firefighter was injured Thursday while battling a structure fire in Hurst, officials say.
The Hurst Fire Department and units from the Bedford and Euless departments responded about 6:30 p.m. to a house in the cul-de-sac of Dorothy Lane.
The home’s garage was fully engulfed in flames. Firefighters searched after hearing a report of people trapped inside but found no one home.
The fire was brought under control by 7 p.m.
One firefighter with what may be a torn muscle was taken to a local hospital, fire officials said.
Investigators are trying to determine the cause of the fire.
