This is a specific request for Firefighters who have or still serve as members of the military.
The National Fallen Firefighters Foundation is working with the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) to create a guide for fire departments to assist with the behavioral health needs of firefighters with military experience.
MUSC has launched a survey to collect information from firefighters with military experience or people who manage firefighters with military experience. The purpose of this survey is to gather information about your experiences so that they can gather information about the unique behavioral health needs of this population, and to develop any needed services or resources for this group.
Your comments will be completely confidential and will be combined without identifying information with those of the others surveyed for our summary. While they work with the NFFF, all information gathered in this survey remains completely confidential and findings will only be presented as an overall summary of all information. This summary will help them gather very important information about firefighters who have military experience and/or are active duty.
If you are able to assist in providing this much needed data, please go to: https://redcap.musc.edu/surveys/?s=DLW8RE8PDP
Thanks so much.
