Two firefighters have been released from the hospital following a rollover wreck involving a firetruck.
New London Fire Chief Curtis Riley said Thursday that two firefighters were released from the hospital with minor injuries. One firefighter remains hospitalized in the intensive care unit.
Riley said that he spoke with another member of the department this morning who said the injured firefighter is in good spirits.
The three were injured while responding to a fire about 10 p.m. Wednesday night on FM 850, between Texas 42 and FM 2012.
The New London Volunteer Fire Department was headed to a grass fire in a water-tender vehicle, according to the Rusk County Office of Emergency Management.
It is unclear what led to the wreck at this time.
