***PENNSYLVANIA FIREFIGHTER LOSES 3 OF HIS KIDS IN A FIRE***
ANY & ALL HELP IS NEEDED
As you probably know by now, 3 of the five children who lost their lives in Sunday morning’s fire at an Erie (PA) daycare were the kids of a local Firefighter. As the fire broke out, Luther Jones was responding to another call in the city (mutual aid) just blocks away with Lawrence Park Fire Department. LPFD was asked to assist in handling other calls while the Erie Fire Department operated at the overnight day care fire on West 11th Street.
To help Firefighter Jones and his family cover funeral costs, LPFD is setting up a bank account with Northwest to collect donations.
Donations for Luther’s family can be made at any Erie Northwest Bank branch. For those out of town, the address donations can be mailed to is: Northwest Bank 4270 E. Lake Rd Erie, PA 16511 *The account name for donations is the Lawrence Park Fire Department: Luther Jones Family Fund *
(Right now there is no online way to donate as per the bank)
Our condolences to all those affected. Rest In Peace.
