An Illinois man faces DUI, felony battery to a firefighter and resisting arrest among other charges when he attacked firefighters late Saturday morning.
Firefighters were called to a vehicle fire shortly after 11 a.m. in DeKalb County, Illinois. As crews were working to put out the car fire, the vehicle’s 23-year-old owner shoved one firefighter and became physical with others, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.
Police on scene Tazed the man and took him into custody. The paper did not if any firefighters were injured in the altercation.
