Next week starts FDIC. My first FDIC was in 1977 (Memphis, lead by ISFSI) and I haven’t missed one yet. Now, Pennwell carries on the tradition and it’s better each year. The value of FDIC is obvious…but honestly, even if you never attended a class and just “hung out” and listened to the many discussions and conversations…you would have to be pulse less to not come home a better Firefighter.
Obviously-attend classes and attend the social stuff…but the point is that there will be so much energy and good stuff in Indy next week that it is impossible to not gain.
Between the HOT programs, the workshops (I’ll see some of you Tuesday morning), the classes, the exhibits and the many social events-it is an experience like not other.
Make a plan
(really-in writing, on your smartphone and use the FDIC app)….attend every class you possibly can-see everything you can in the exhibits-do everything! …and then expect to come home exhausted but totally RE-CHARGED!
So…here are some activities worth considering as you plan your week.

I mentioned “Pass It On” and for those of you wanting to purchase either or both pass it On books-here are some opportunities for book signings etc. We will be at the FDIC/Pennwell Book Store as follows:
