A Baytown (Texas) Fire Department ambulance was T-boned by a motorist in an SUV while running lights en route to a motor vehicle crash Thursday.
The force of the impact flipped the ambulance on its side. Two medical students in the back of the rig were flown to the hospital, according to Click2Houston. They were in stable condition.
The two Brayton paramedics riding the ambulance’s cab were also transported and in stable condition. It was not reported if seatbelts were in use.
Police are investigating the cause.
