2 WEST VIRGINIA EMS PARAMEDICS KILLED IN CRASH

Two Paramedics were killed in the Line Of Duty after their ambulance crashed with a tractor-trailer in Nicholas County, West Virginia around 0800 hours this morning.
The Jan-Care Ambulance hit the rear of a tractor-trailer. The trailer was parked in the right lane of Rt. 19 for an undetermined reason.
23-year-old Medic Brittany Lachelle Young and 35-year-old Medic Ronald Douglas Dick II of Shady Spring were in the ambulance at the time of the crash. Young, and Dick were returning back to Raleigh County after completing a transport to Morgantown, West Virginia.
Investigators revealed that the ambulance collided with the back of a tractor trailer, which appeared to be parked in the right truck lane for reasons unknown. No one was injured inside the tractor. Our condolences to all those affected-more to follow. RIP.

2 FDNY EMS UNITS COLLIDE WHILE RESPONDING
In a violent crash around 1600 hours today, 2 FDNY EMS units collided with one another while responding in The Bronx. Two FDNY EMS members were in each ambulance, but managed to get themselves out. Neither ambulance had a patient. All four medics were taken to Lincoln Hospital for evaluation with non life threatening injuries.
